National Structures mobilizes turnkey emergency response and recovery support services that feed, shelter, and sustain communities in need and the professionals who assist them. We specialize in temporary food services, temporary structures and basecamp support services including utilities, climate control and hygiene facilities that aid response operations and community recovery following natural disasters, critical infrastructure disruptions and other emergency events.


What client challenges were you trying to solve?
A large deployment with a 24-hour activation turnaround. After receiving the Award, National Structures was onsite with project management within 24 hours.  Equipment and Staff started to arrive within 48 hours. National Structures built turn-key 1000 PAX/60,000 sq. ft. every 3 days. Completed the camp in 18 days. We provided 360,000 Sq. Ft. of Structure with floor, sidewall, doors, interior and exterior lights, 144 30 Ton HVAC units, 150-180 KVA generators with automatic transfer switches, 72- 56KW supplemental heater, 26 – 70 KVA generators, miles of power distribution cable, 6,000 - cots, 10,000 - linen kits, 320 - showers, 320 - latrines, 60 – hand wash stations and ablution services.

What feature of our services/product was most important?
National Structures ability to respond quickly and complete the project on schedule was most important.  National Structures staffed the camp 24/7 with as many as 20 technicians in the AM. And as many as 10 technicians in the PM.  NST responded to service calls, checked generators' fuel levels, performed routine maintenance, and attended daily OPS meeting with client

How has our solution helped since its implementation?
NST provided billeting for 6000 Refugees and deployed its services within 24 hours after being awarded the contract.

2021

  • National Structures was deployed to provide three meals per day in response to deployment needs. Joint response with Rosemary's Catering and National Structures.
  • National Structures supported deployment needs by provided 4,000 persons three meals per day for roughly four months at Fort in Virginia. The task included supplying all necessary equipment and building the fully operational commercial kitchen from the ground up. Joint response with Rosemary's Catering and National Structures.
  • National Structures was awarded two DFAC operations at Fort in Wisconsin in support of deployment needs. National Structures feeds anywhere from 3,500 – 7,500 per day. Joint response with Rosemary's Catering and National Structures.
  • National Structures supported deployment needs in Fort in Texas by supplying and building a large volume of Structures & flooring for billeting, MWR, medical facilities, a chapel and administrative needs.
  • Provided roughly 20,000 sq. ft. of tenting, floors, HVAC and Power for billeting and dining for soldiers to quarantine before coming into base population at a Fort in Texas.
  • Provided roughly 60,000 sq. ft. of tenting, floors, HVAC and Power & for billeting and dining for soldiers across three sites at Fort in Texas to support a military training exercise involving the French and British. We also provided fluff & fold laundry service for the 3,000 soldiers involved.
  • Set up temporary kitchen, staffing, and feeding program to replace existing hospital staff impacted with COVID at three sites. Provided feeding solution for approximately 500 staff and patients, multiple meals daily utilizing (1) 53’ mobile kitchen and providing all utilities required to support the mission. Joint effort between National Structures and Rosemary's Catering.
  • Provided roughly 10,000 sq. ft. of tenting, floors, HVAC and Power plus food service for soldiers; kitchen tent supported culinary operations and delivery of two hot meals/day.
  • Provided roughly 60,000 sq. ft. of tenting, floors, HVAC and Power for billeting and dining for soldiers to quarantine before coming into base population at Fort in Texas.

2020

  • National Structures supported two sites containing 700 and 500 personnel, providing tenting and flooring as well as catering services and boxed meals for disaster response following Hurricane Laura.
  • National Structures provided Temporary Structures with for use as serving tents (Covid Protocol) at four (4) separate sites in Lake Charles, LA, with a population of 500-1000 personnel at each; structures were utilized to distribute 2,000 boxed lunches provided per day from our sister company, The Sandwich Factory in San Antonio.
  • Deployed 80-Bed field hospital constructed at Freeman Coliseum for Covid surge contingencies. Assets included soft sided structure, flooring and lighting.
  • Provided roughly 80,000 sq. ft. of tenting for billeting and dining service support for soldiers to quarantine before coming into base population at Ft. Hood.
  • National Structures set up temporary hospital wings with temporary structures to include flooring, tenting, power generation/HVAC to increase bed capacity across the State of TX for COVID-19 response, over 22 locations served.
  • Provided roughly 270,000 sq. ft. of tenting for billeting for soldiers to quarantine before coming into base population at Fort in Texas. Further supported soldiers by providing daily dining services for over half a year.

2019

  • National Structures set up approximately 100,000+ square feet of tenting, flooring, power/HVAC for intake, dining facilities, food prep and mobile kitchen. Provided all onsite feeding for roughly 2,000 people daily.
  • National Structures provided tenting for dining halls and food services at three North Carolina basecamp sites at the same time following the landfall of H. Dorian; two sites supported 500 persons and the third had 700 persons.
  • In September 2019, National Structures provided mobile culinary equipment, power generation, soft sided structure and flooring on Grand Bahama island following Hurricane Dorian. Joint response effort between National Structures and RKSMS.
  • National Structures Provided roughly 270,000 sq. ft. of tenting for billeting for soldiers to quarantine before coming into base population at Fort in Texas. Further supported soldiers by providing daily dining services for over half a year.
